About

Mia was born and raised in Calgary and has a strong passion for supporting others in their journey to recovery. From a young age, she was driven by a desire to help people improve their physical well-being, which ultimately led her to pursue a career dedicated to optimizing patient health and performance.

She earned a Massage Therapy Diploma from Lethbridge Polytechnic (formerly Lethbridge Community College) and graduated from a nationally accredited program. She also recently graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Human Kinetics from the University of Regina. Mia is eager to expand her knowledge and skills, with the goal of broadening her ability to help individuals from a more comprehensive perspective. Over the past 5 years, she has been applying her knowledge working as a student trainer with the Women’s Soccer team and Track & Field/Cross Country team at the University of Regina.

Within her current scope of practice, Mia integrates a variety of techniques tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. This includes a brief assessment/intake, therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, and Swedish massage techniques. She also holds certificates in KT Taping, foot reflexology, and basic full body joint mobilizations. All these are utilized to provide personalized care to each individual she sees.
